Dear Captains,

This is the 3rd Information Email for German Team Bowl 2025

📢 Please also forward this information to all members of your squad! This is the 3rd Infomail for the GTB 2025

a) Tournament Software

For the German Team Bowl 2025, we will be using the tournament platform:

On this platform, you can manage your squad, submit your roster, and later enter game results.
To ensure everything runs smoothly, please read the following short guide:

1. Login
All accounts have been created centrally.

Username: Your NAF Nickname
Initial Password: gtb2025

👉 Please change your password upon first login!
Click on your nickname in the top right corner and set a new password.

2. Squad Management
Go to the “Squad” tab.

There you will see your squad.
As a captain, you can invite players to join your squad.
Invited players must confirm the invitation to become official members.
Once all members are confirmed, your squad will be marked green (= ready to play).

3. Entering Your Rosters
Go to the “My Team” tab.

There, you can enter your team roster for the tournament.
Please make sure all details are accurate and complete.

Roster-Deadline is 31.07.2025

4. Upload Squad Logo (Captains Only)
Click on your nickname (top right corner).

There, you can upload a squad logo, if you wish.
If you encounter any issues with the platform or if something is unclear, feel free to contact Narok or reach out to me directly.

b) Draft during the tournament

We are using a Team Draft System for each round, so you will need to discuss who of your team is playing who on the opposing team and can do tactical decisions.
We will use our software to determine the draw and make the draws etc. We already tested it heavily and it never took us more than 5minutes to do so (most of the time less than 60 seconds) – so we luckily don’t need to adjust the time of the rounds.
We will do a short presentation of the draft sytem before the tournament, so everybody will be fine, knowing what to do.

c) Another possible Gimmick at GTB
The Main Gimmick will still be a surprise (i already have them here at home :)) but you will have the opportunity to buy wooden Dugouts/Tokens from Heinrich, who will participate in the tournament. They will be specifically branded for GTB. You will find some example pictures in the attachment of this mail. If you are interested in getting them, he can bring them to the tournament. Payment is directly discussed with him (as he is producing them :)) He does need the information until Mid-July to have time enough to prepare them

Orga-Team German Team Bowl 2025

Welcome Dear Captains.
This is the 2nd Infomail for the upcoming German Team Bowl Tournament. Right now we do have 120 Players signed up makeing the tournament the largest tournament that ever happened in Germany. Thanks a lot!!

If you haven’t paid yet, please do so in the next days. The account details have been sent to you in the last email. If you unsure if you have paid, please check the website (german-team-bowl.de). if your team is written in bold letters we received the payment and you are fine.

We do run a GTB Discord server. Feel free to join if you want to directly contact us or the other teams.

Narok has programmed the tournament software we are planning to use in the tournament. You will have to send us your rosters via the app/software. The software will include the draft system we are using, as it will do the management of your team and your games, including the tournament itself. We already tested it with a small amount of players, now we want to test it before the tournament with more people. If you are interested in helping please join the appropriate discord channel or simply answer to this mail.

In the tournament software there is the ability to show your team emblems. some of the teams already do have sent us some graphics. So feel free to be an artist! If all teams send us graphics we may have some surprises for you at the tournament itself 🙂

A new GW-FAQ has arrived the last days, and we are of course using the changes they include. Tentacles will always before any Dodge roll! If the tentacle-roll succeeds no dodge roll will be done.

We will use the most recent eurobowl-ruleset for 2025 so please double check if in any doubt.

Hallo liebe Kapitäne,  Hier findet ihr die ersten Informationen zur Bezahlung und zum Turnier. Seitens der Bezahlung überweist bitte den entsprechenden Betrag (55Euro/Spieler + 10 Euro/Essen/Spieler/Tag) (zusammen mit der Turniergebühr) sobald wie es euch möglich ist auf folgendes Konto XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (alle gex-ten Infos sind in der Email) Bitte schreibt bei der Bezahlung dazu um welches Team es sich handelt! Prinzipiell ist auch eine Zahlung über Paypal möglich, sprecht mich dazu bitte direkt an. Banküberweisung macht es für mich in der Organisation einfacher und ihr könnt mir helfen, wenn ihr dies bevorzugt. Wenn ihr in der Jugendherberge übernachten wollt, gibt es wieder ein Abrufkontingent an Betten, welches ihr unter Verweis auf die Reservierungsnummer: XXXXX in der Jugendherberge abrufen könnt. Ihr könnt diese abrufen, in dem ihr Eure Betten direkt über das Eventmanagement der Jugendherberge bucht. Alternativ gibt es aber in und um Köln genügend B/B und Hotelangebote in allen Preiskategorien. Wir werden nach den Eurobowl Regeln 2025 spielen, die aktuelle Version ist auf der Homepage verlinkt. Anpassungen wie GW-FAQ etc. werden natürlich übernommen. Bei der Anmeldung über das Online-Formular konntet ihr auch Essenswünsche angeben. Bitte überprüft ob ihr dies gemacht habt (wir haben das Formular nochmal geändert, so dass ihr nun Allergien und Wünsche direkt eingeben könnt). Bitte tragt spezielle Wünsche, wie zum Beispiel Vegetarier unter “Allergien” ein. (Ja wir wissen, dass das keine Allergie ist :)) Wie immer – wenn Ihr fragen habt meldet Euch einfach bei uns.
